Tifa has always been a friendly and courageous girl, growing up in a small town with a solid group of friends who would follow her almost anywhere. She’s the kind of girl who, following the death of her mother would fearlessly face the dangers of crossing Mt. Nibel, even if it meant going alone, because she believed she would be able to find her mother on the other side of the mountain. While undeniably brave, this also shows how Tifa tends to be ruled by her emotions, particularly when it comes to her loved ones. When someone she cares about is in trouble or needing help she doesn’t hesitate to lend them a hand, even if it means risking her own safety. She will go to any lengths to help a loved one in need, which can best be seen in how she willingly helps Cloud restore his memories after they fell into the Lifestream.
At a first glance Tifa seems like someone who has it all together; exuding confidence in her abilities (both as a fighter and as a bar owner). She’s super competent in her duel jobs as a member of AVALANCHE and also the owner of the bar which provides the group with their cover base, as well as dual bar owner and makeshift secretary for Cloud and his services after the Crisis. And she tends to be the sounding board for her friends most of the time, being both a good listener and someone who gives sound advice and encouragement where it is needed. But what hides behind this confidence is a ton of uncertainty and an inability to express herself fully. She’s the type to either bite back on what she truly wants to say and remain silent because she doesn’t want to rock the boat so to speak or cause a rift between her and her friends. This is best seen in her relationship with Cloud where it is truly her actions that reveal her feelings for him more so than anything she has, or hasn’t, said. When Cloud leaves to join SOLDIER Tifa begins following the news, searching for any piece of information that would indicate that Cloud made his dream come true. When two members of SOLDIER finally come to her hometown she shyly asks Zack whether or not he knows of a blonde man who has joined their ranks. And even after seven years without a word from him, Tifa brings Cloud into the AVALANCHE fold without question when he has nowhere else to go and convinces him to stay when he’s thinking of leaving. Tifa is very much the caretaker of her group, looking out for her friends and, as I’ve mentioned, being their sounding board and someone they feel comfortable going to for advice and encouragement. She often looked after her friend Barret’s daughter, Marlene when he was away doing missions for AVALANCHE, and has become her surrogate mother by the time of her canon point, as well as mother figure a boy named Denzel. She has a great capacity to love and she is fiercely protective of those she cares about, willing to do anything she can to protect them. But that isn’t to say that Tifa doesn’t have her darker side as well. With her great capacity to love also comes an ability to hate as well. She carries a deep hatred for ShinRA and SOLDIER and all that they stand for as well as for Sephiroth, who is responsible for the death of her father and destruction of her home. It is this hatred that leads her to seeking out and joining AVALANCHE in their attempts to take down ShinRA and save the planet from their pollution. While her hatred and distrust of ShinRa and Sephiroth are still present, and will probably never go away entirely, they are muted by the fact that they both have been defeated. In the case of Sephiroth, twice. Tifa is capable of holding strong grudges, but she is also able to move past those grudges and look towards the future. Her determination to re-open Seventh Heaven as a way to serve her community in the wake of the Crisis is her way of starting over and also her apology for the hand AVALANCHE had in the destruction done to Midgar. She is also a fierce and fast fighter, relying on her body to take down her opponents. She takes great pride in her abilities as a fighter as they give her a way in which to protect those she cares about. She by no means underestimates her abilities, but just the fact that she could lose is not enough to stop her from fighting if she feels she has to. She rushes headlong into Sephiroth in revenge for her father even knowing she doesn’t stand a chance, as well as faces Loz during Advent Children in order to protect Marlene. It is part stubbornness and part resolve that keeps her fighting even when she knows it’s a losing battle. But the other reason she’s willing to put herself at risk is because she believes in the promise that Cloud made to her, that he would always be there when she’s in a pinch and needs help.
Tifa is a brawler, relying on hand-to-hand combat to fight. Her chosen weapon comes in the form of different kind of gloves which range from regular leather gloves to gloves with knuckles and gloves with claws. Her physical abilities, also known as her Limits, are as follows:
Level One: Beat Rush-She delivers a swift series of powerful punches to her opponent. Somersault-While somersaulting in the air she delivers a kick to her opponent. Level Two: Waterkick-A sweeping kick accompanied by a blast of water. Meteordrive-Lifts her opponent in a vertical suplex and slams them into the ground. Level Three: Dolphin Blow-An uppercut attack that is accompanied by water and a Dolphin. I am not making this up. Meteorstrike- She picks up and spins her opponent before jumping into the air and slamming them into the ground. Level Four: Final Heaven-Creates a giant energy blast with a punch. ACTIVE TIMES/PACE: Most of my tagging tends to take place in the late afternoon and evening on weekdays. But my work schedule is constantly shifting so I have been known to tag at strange times as well and/or make phone tags during breaks. My pace tends to be on the slower side, but I try to respond to tags within two to three days at most.
BRACKETS/PROSE: I write in brackets as my personal preference, but I have no problem switching to prose or style matching whoever I am tagging with.

PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Come at her, bro. Tifa is a trained brawler/martial artist and more than capable of holding her own against an opponent. She's even likely to seek out opponents for sparring to keep her skills honed. For any severe violence (broken bones, being stabbed, etc.) please talk to me first.
RELATIONSHIPS: She's open for shipping for both M/F and F/F ships. But Tifa is an emotionally repressive person who is more likely to hide the fact that she has a crush then actively pursue it. Be patient with her!

MAGICAL INFORMATION: Tifa doesn't have any magical abilities or her own, but with the help of Materia she is able to use healing, elemental, and summoning magic. In-game she only has a Healing Materia.
MEDICAL INFORMATION: Tifa is in perfect physical shape kept up with regular training. Her arms, legs, and stomach are toned and lightly muscular. She does possesses small scars across her body from the various fights she's been in, along with one prominent scar left by the Masamune.
